I tried listening this album as an introduce to this band which I've been curious about for a long time. I don't know if listening to this was a good start for Anekdoten.
To be honest, I didn't like this album. To be more honest, this album was the worst album that I've listened to lately. Yes, we can understand that A Time Of Day is progressive rock album, granted. Using mellotron was a plus, granted. But still cannot save the album to be considered as a DISASTER, for me. Vocal is quite unsuitable for songs. Meaningless changes in tonation. Kinda got the vibe that the vocalist is trying to imitate Van Der Graaf Generator, I felt that way.
But no, not worth listening to, in my opinion..

i have found this blog by sheer chance..and i may add, probably by luck..
so far i been listening to the bands' songs if i can find it and i am impressed with the quality.. so far, i am finding a place which reflects my taste with eerie similarity..
unfortunately i wont be able to add much to the collection that i am sure i would come to cherish so much because i am from somewhere far far from the world u know where to get music is not possible..
i am downloading this album...
